Organisational Data Management & Operations Platform

One organisation. Connected operations. Measurable results.

Most organisations run on information scattered across spreadsheets, inboxes and shared drives. ODMOP is one workspace where you enter information once, connect it across your organisation, and make every result traceable.

In early access. Organisation setup, team roles, the audit history and the results workflow (programmes, indicators, approved measurements and results reports) work today. What is not yet available is labelled below.

Information scatters. Accountability follows it.

Organisations that work across programmes, funders and teams meet the same three problems.

  1. Entered again and again

The same facts are retyped into trackers, reports and funder templates, and the copies drift apart.

  2. Cut off from results

Plans, activities and indicators live in different files, so linking effort to outcome takes weeks of manual work.

  3. Hard to trace

When someone asks who changed a figure, who approved it and when, the answer depends on memory.

Enter once. Connect across the organisation. Trace every result.

ODMOP gives each organisation one place to keep its operating information, with people, permissions and history built in from the start.

  • Enter information once

One record for each fact, owned by someone, instead of copies in many files.

  • Connect it across your organisation

Today the organisation, its people and its permissions are connected. Programmes, activities, indicators and evidence are being added on the same foundation.

  • Make every result traceable

Every change is recorded with who made it and when, so a figure can be followed back to its source.

Core capabilities

ODMOP is released in stages. What you can use today is separated clearly from what is planned.

Available now

  • Available

    Organisation management

Create an organisation, describe it, add offices and countries of operation, and set its currencies, time zone and financial-year calendar. Nothing is assumed: every setting is chosen by the organisation.

  • Available

    Team, roles and access

Invite colleagues by email and give each person a role. Nine roles and a published permission matrix decide what they can see and do. Access can be paused, restored or ended, and ownership can be transferred.

  • Available

    Audit history

A permanent, filterable record of who did what and when. Entries cannot be edited or deleted through the application.

  • Available

    Programmes, projects and indicators

Organise work into programmes and projects. Define each indicator once, with its definition, unit, direction and baseline, then set a target for every reporting period. Once measurements exist the definition is locked, so results stay comparable.

  • Available

    Measurements and approvals

Record a value with how it was collected, submit it, and have a different person approve it. Corrections create a new version; earlier versions, and who decided what and when, are kept.

  • Available

    Results reports and evidence references

Results are calculated from approved measurements only, with baseline, target, achievement and the source of every figure. Save a snapshot that can no longer change. Evidence is a link or a reference to where the original is held.

Planned, not available yet

  • Planned

    Activities and tasks

Plan, assign and track the work that delivers each project.

  • Planned

    Evidence file storage

Upload documents and keep them with the results they support. Today evidence is recorded as a link or a reference only.

  • Planned

    Dashboards and data export

Executive dashboards and export of results for funders and partners. Results reports can be read in the app today.

  • Planned

    Single sign-on and data import

Connect an identity provider and bring in existing data.

How it works

A path from first sign-in to approved results. Every step is available today; activity planning, which would sit between steps four and five, is not.

  1. Step 1

    Create your organisation

Register, verify your email and create the organisation. You become its Owner.

    Available
  2. Step 2

    Set your context

Choose your currencies, time zone and financial-year start. ODMOP presets none of them.

    Available
  3. Step 3

    Bring in your team

Invite colleagues, assign roles and keep access under the organisation’s control.

    Available
  4. Step 4

    Structure the work

Organise programmes and projects, define indicators and set targets for each reporting period. Activity planning is not available yet.

    Available
  5. Step 5

    Measure, review and report

Record measurements against indicators, attach evidence references, have each one approved by a second person and produce results reports.

    Available

Every change has an author and a time

Accountability is part of how ODMOP records information, not an extra step afterwards.

  • The audit history shows who did what, to what, and when, and can be filtered by action.
  • Entries are append-only. The application offers no way to edit or delete them.
  • Refused actions are recorded too, so attempts to go beyond a role’s permissions leave a trace.
  • A separation-of-duties rule is enforced by default: the person who prepares work cannot approve it. Only an Owner can allow an exception, and doing so needs a recorded reason. The rule will apply to approvals when review workflows arrive.

Security and privacy

These are protections that are built and tested in the product today.

  • Organisations are kept apart in the database

Each organisation’s records are separated by database row-level security, so isolation does not depend on application code alone. Automated tests try to cross that boundary and check that they cannot.

  • Permissions are checked by the server

Every request is checked against the person’s role. Hiding a button in the interface is never the only protection.

  • Protected sign-in

Email verification is required before an organisation can be created. Two-step verification with an authenticator app is available, and sensitive actions ask for a recent sign-in.

  • Invitations that expire

Invitation links work once, expire after seven days and only work for the invited email address.

  • A history that cannot be rewritten

Audit entries are append-only at the database level, not only in the interface.

  • Data location is a deployment setting

Where data is stored is chosen when ODMOP is deployed and recorded for each organisation. The product is not tied to one country.

What we do not claim

ODMOP has not yet had an independent security assessment and holds no compliance certification. We will state those only once they exist.

Who ODMOP serves

ODMOP is for organisations that answer to others for how they use resources and what they achieve, in any country.

  • NGOs and nonprofits
  • Charities and foundations
  • Development organisations
  • Social-impact organisations
  • International organisations

Questions and answers

What is ODMOP?

ODMOP is the Organisational Data Management & Operations Platform. It is a workspace where an organisation keeps its people, permissions, programmes, indicators and approved results, with a record of every change.

Who is it for?

NGOs, nonprofits, charities, foundations, development, social-impact and international organisations that need to manage operations and show results.

How do we get started?

Create an account, verify your email and create your organisation. A short setup guide helps you choose currencies and time zone and invite your team. Every step can be skipped and finished later.

How is our data protected?

Organisations are isolated at the database level, permissions are checked on the server, sign-in can use two-step verification and changes are recorded in an append-only audit history. See Security and privacy above for the full list and for what we do not claim.

Is it available in my country and language?

ODMOP is designed with no country restriction, and nothing in it assumes a particular country, currency or calendar. The interface is in English today. We will add languages only after they have been tested.

Is ODMOP ready to use?

It is in early access. Organisation management, team roles, the audit history and the results workflow (programmes, indicators, approved measurements and results reports) work today. Activity planning, evidence file storage, dashboards, data export and single sign-on are not available yet. Pricing has not been announced.

Start with your organisation.

Create your organisation, set your context and invite your team. The rest of ODMOP is built on that foundation.
